Overview
A pipeline permit authorizes an applicant to construct a pipeline to transport oil, gas, or minerals. Certain types of pipeline installations, such as those wholly contained within the property of a plant may be exempted from the requirement to apply for a permit.
Does not apply to pipelines for which there is in force a certificate or an order exempting the pipeline under the National energy Board Act.(Canada)
Eligibility
Any company wishing to construct a pipeline must be a corporation, partnership, or limited partnership authorized by the Province to carry on a business in the Province.
Must submit to random EUB inspection.
Description
An application for a permit must be made to the Energy and Utilities Board including information as required by legislation. The Board will fix a proceeding and receive representations from persons affected by the construction of the proposed pipeline before ruling on whether to grant a permit.

Unless otherwise specified, Fees exclude the harmonized sales tax (HST).
