Description

The New Brunswick Opportunities Network (NBON) is owned and operated by the Central Purchasing Branch, of this department.

Official tender documents for goods and services, as well as tender notices for transportation and building construction issued on behalf of the province are available free of charge on this site.

NBON Registration is simple: vendors can register on-line, free of charge, by clicking on "Vendor Registration" in the options menu and completing the electronic registration form.

Procurement specialists responsible for tendering will, upon request, provide further information to potential bidders relating to a particular public tender. Inquiries must generally be submitted in writting and responses are given in the form of an amendment to the tender, which is published on the NBON.

Upon request, staff from this branch may provide tender debriefings to unsuccessful bidders.

The general public can contact staff from this branch who will assist them in understanding the procurement practices of the Province, how tenders are issued, published and awarded, and can answer any other inquiries related to procurement.

Staff receive bids for tenders issued by the Province, (bids can be submitted in person, by mail, courier, fax or even through the NBON system for selected tenders). Bids are opened publicly and the general public may attend.
