Overview
A Development Permit grants exclusive right to undertake bituminous shale development work up to and including pilot plant tests or schemes.
Eligibility
Applicant must hold a bituminous shale licence to search.
Description
The area of the development permit may include all the licence area or a portion, which shall consist of a single block.
A development permit is valid for an initial term of 1 year and may be renewed for a maximum of 4 consecutive annual periods.
Fees
Unless otherwise specified, Fees exclude the harmonized sales tax (HST).
