The Seniors’ & Healthy Aging governance is built upon existing collaboration between partners to coordinate plans across organizations and ensure advancement is made towards a common objective.
The partners include senior leaders from the Department of Social Development, Department of Health, both Regional Health Authorities and Extra-Mural/Ambulance New Brunswick Inc. (EM/ANB).
This group provides oversight and strategic direction for the design and implementation of the initiatives outlined in the aging-in-place framework and ensures the partners are working together in an efficient and effective manner.
Great success is being made to coordinate the various initiatives that are underway by these organizations related to seniors’ and healthy aging.
