Overview
Under Post Guardianship Services the Department may continue to provide support to young people formerly in the permanent care of the Minister.
Eligibility
Post Guardianship Status is a voluntary agreement signed with a youth having a guardianship status, upon reaching the age of 19 years.
Description
The Department may continue to provide care and support to young people formerly in care who are enrolled in an educational program or who are unable to support themselves because of a physical, mental or emotional disability up to the age of 24 years.
