Eligibility

TRADE QUALIFIERS

An individual desiring certification as a journeyperson in New Brunswick in the Heavy Equipment Operator (Loader) occupation is required to meet one of the criteria as stipulated in Board Order GC002 "Requirements to Obtain a Certificate of Qualification Without Written Exam".

A person who has gained the equivalent of 1800 hours of practical experience in the Heavy Equipment Operator (Loader) occupation may apply for Certification. Successful candidates will receive a New Brunswick Certificate of Qualification.

Description

Those working in the Heavy Equipment Operator (Loader) occupation operate the specified piece of earth moving equipment to stockpile, load, shape, grade, and prepare equipment for transport.
