Overview

GED preparation courses are aimed at helping adults complete the necessary course material to achieve a high school diploma equivalency. Course are offered free of charge for adult residents of New Brunswick (see eligibility criteria below)

Courses are offered through the Community Adult Learning Program (CALP). The program offers in person, online, as well as hybrid classes.

Eligibility

The minimum conditions for a learner to be eligible to participate in WorkingNB’s Adult Learning Programs and Services require that a learner be:
• legally entitled to work in Canada;
• 18 years old or older;
• a New Brunswick resident;
• orally proficient in language of training (French or English); and
• no longer enrolled in the public-school system.

Description

GED preparation through community adult learning centres

Community adult learning centres offer onsite GED preparation courses as well as academic upgrading or support with personal learning objectives.
