FREDERICTON (GNB) – The following statement regarding the bargaining process with the New Brunswick Teachers’ Federation was made today by Finance and Treasury Board Minister Ernie Steeves:
The conciliation board hearing was held on Saturday, June 17. The report of the conciliation board is due within 30 days following the hearing and should be received early in July. This is part of the collective bargaining process, and our government is optimistic that the parties will be able to reach an agreement that meets the needs of both sides.
