FREDERICTON (GNB) – The provincial government has reached a tentative agreement with the agriculture, veterinary, engineering, land surveying and architecture bargaining unit represented by the Professional Institute of the Public Service of Canada.

This group includes about 250 employees, working mainly as engineers at the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure and as veterinarians and agriculturists at the Department of Agriculture, Aquaculture and Fisheries.

The parties have agreed to withhold details of the agreement pending its ratification.
