Overview

The Assessment and Planning Appeal Board is responsible for hearing property assessment appeals under the Assessment Act, appeals of land use and planning decisions under the Community Planning Act and hearing appeals of local heritage review board decisions under the Heritage Conservation Act.

Interested parties, including property owners, planners and heritage groups.

Description

The Board conducts hearings through five regional panels, which are convened as and where required throughout the province. Each panel consists of a chairperson and up to two members. The Chairperson of the Board may act as chair or designate one of the three vice-chairs to act as chair for a hearing. .

To make an appeal, a Notice of Appeal Form must be completed.
