Overview
All pesticides used in New Brunswick must be registered by Health Canada. Any individual or business offering pesticide application services for fee or reward must be licensed. Requirements for pesticide operator licensing vary with the type of work being conducted. Please contact the Pesticide Program Officer for Pesticide Operator License requirements.

Description
Department staff review application packages and draft licenses in accordance with legislation. Staff maintain regular communication with clients and conduct routine inspections to verify compliance.
