Local governance structure in New Brunswick

The new structure has 77 local governments, 12 rural districts and an expanded mandate for regional service commissions.

Local Governance Commission

The Local Governance Commission will be an expert body and is being created to review, assess, and make recommendations or rule on matters affecting the governance and administration of local governance structures.
