Increasing capacity for nursing education

Partnering with Beal University to support NB students

We remain committed to addressing the challenges our health-care system is facing and we are taking further action in support of nurse recruitment.  We have partnered with Beal University in neighbouring Maine to provide more opportunities for students to receive training sooner. Beal University has agreed to accept up to 100 New Brunswick students into their nursing programs in 2023 to help us build immediate capacity to train more nurses and ultimately bring more nurses to the New Brunswick health-care system.
