Walk-in and virtual clinics

In-person or virtual healthcare consultations for a common illness, injury, infection or general health concerns.

Overview

If you are sick and have a family doctor or nurse practitioner, call their office first.

For patients without timely access to a primary healthcare provider, a family doctor or nurse practitioner, a walk-in or virtual clinic can provide non-urgent in-person medical care.

These clinics provide care on a first-come, first-served basis and are often open days, evenings and on weekends.

Walk-in clinics

Walk-in clinics can assess and treat conditions like:

  • Sore throat

Treatment

For patients currently without a physician, nurse practitioner or NB Health Link, eVisitNB can help you with your medical concerns, any routine investigations or referrals to specialists.

For patients currently with a physician, nurse practitioner or NB Health Link who cannot access their provider in a timely manner, eVisitNB can help you with non-urgent medical concerns, including any appropriate investigations.  For certain services, eVisitNB will send a report to your primary care provider informing them of the visit.

Virtual clinics can assess and treat various conditions. Review the list of treatments before you book to ensure it’s the right service for you.
